Just look up the average GPA and SAT for those schools. If yours are higher, then you have a decent chance.
Also why would you apply to state schools from states other than yours?

Just go to an in-state school lmao. It also depends a lot on what you want to major in. You don't want to go to Johns Hopkin's if you don't want to do medicine.

If I were you, I'd try to narrow it down to 1 or 2 schools from that list, and apply to them. Try to ask yourself why you want to go to a particular school: what does it offer to you academicswise/tuitionwise/partywise?

I can't speak for the other schools, but as far as Tech is concerned, your grades by themselves are good enough. But applying is more than just grades. Extracurriculars, essay, and other such normie shit is all a part of your application.

It is definitely possible for you to get into these schools. You're not the cream of the crop academically, but you'd be far from the biggest brainlet on campus. You should look up data about GPAs/SAT scores that were accepted each year to each school.

I'm sure normies have informed you about safety schools, and they're a good idea. In addition to the places you apply to from this list, you should apply to some lower-ranking colleges that still have a decent program for your major. For instance, I applied to VT, James Madison, and Christopher Newport, and I got accepted to Tech first so I didn't bother waiting for the other schools to reply back before I accepted VT's offer, since the other two were just a backup.
