I'm reading pic related right now. This is the second book in the Expanse series. It's good sci fi for just turning your brain off and enjoying a good, sometimes cheesy, story.
Also have some other non fiction history books I'm reading.
Just hit the halfway mark of American Psycho.
Its a good easy read that I can finish before going back2school

1Q84 in Japanese. Takes me about an hour per paragraph but that's alright
My brain is no good for it any more. Last book I read was Submission by Houlebeq, took ages, and was months ago. Last year I managed Electric Sheep and the two Hyperion books, what a mind.

Finished Dune two nights ago after a protracted read of months off week on cycle. Really good narrative and characters. I feel yucky knowing Herbert is basically a terrorist apologist, but that doesn't detract from the content of the novel.
Dangerous - Milo Yiannopoulos

and Its the first time I've heard someone express similar sentiments as me about life outside of some random anons from the internet

Shelby Foote's The Civil War: A Narrative and Mary Beard's SPQR. These are the main ones on top of my schoolwork. On the side I read all sorts of poetry and eclectic history, with a few novels.
