The Germans once took their Leopard 1 tanks, attached a ATGM pod onto a crane, then mounted the assembly onto the tank's hull, in lieu of a turret. The resulting "tank hunter" could ATGMs over hills, tree lines, and other obstructions. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Ancient history is so warped by time that it becomes this larger than life story. Being so "disconnected" from reality can make it very, very interesting. I suppose that's why world war 2 is so interesting, because the Nazis were basically cartoon villain level evil, so it disconnects their crimes from reality.

Makes it very interesting to read about. If you like reading about WWII, I highly recommend The Last Battle, about the battle for Castle Iter. Sabaton wrote a song about the battle, by the same name.

Absolutely. War is an evil thing, but morality gets... shady in a war. Anything is justified so long as you win, because anything you did was in the name of victory.

Dresden, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, etc. All were justified in context, but were also horrid, horrid crimes.

The difference with the Nazi's is that we won. We we take stock of our own crimes, we say they were necessary. When we look at the holocaust, we see it as barbaric, but if the nazi's had won, they'd call it justified too.

id be too paranoid about going down there, its down a dead end street off a main road, the kind of place where people twitch curtains all night and phone the police if they see something they dont like, i do have some regular favourite places to chill out and be comfy, most are pretty dark though so wouldnt be good for reading, pic is one of them, its not as scary/dangerous as the pic makes it look down there, the steps are in a very quiet area thats generally dead after midnight, pretty comfy place to relax and have half an hour with your thoughts

The odd night is comfy here and there espically when you have beer on the go, but when its been everday for 3 months straight belive me you would want your old sleeping patern back any day of the week.

I made brownies last night/this morning, I didn't want to eat them I just like making them. I'm still disappointed they tasted horrible at the end. I've made them before the exact same way and they were solid and nice, these were soft and had a weird texture.

I sat down today and realised how much weight I have gained, I'm extremely skinny fat now, not a big build at all but my stomach sticks out far when I sit down. I don't feel like I'm eating anymore than usual so I don't understand this sudden weight gain, anyway, I can't say I really care. I'll just stop eating carbs for a bit. Will be gone in a few weeks.

I'm going to go to sleep in 15 minutes until till 12.

I managed to have two dreams last night. The first was like Train to Busan if you've ever seen that. I was in a group of people, one of whom was Snoop Dogg. Overall it was a pretty good dream.
The next dream was like the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld but with Neapolitan ice cream. I was in a museum with lots of war memorabilia mixed in with anime figures at the very end was the gift shop which gave out this ice cream. My friend went to get some but was denied it, I went up and got mine just fine. Overall, a decent dream.
