It does nothing for my mood, it's just a nice ritual of sorts at this point. It's at least a reason to go outside and see people every now and again.

Price is going up later this year to a ludicrous amount 7,5 euros per pack, so I'm seriously thinking of quitting.

I used to smoke 2 packs a day, just light one up whenever I got bored and wanted to pass the time. Switched to vaping, it was fucking awful and I hated it, then I went back to cigs before I eventually just quit altogether.
I get urges to smoke again, but mainly because it was a nice way to pass the time, and the nicotine made me feel good.

Pipe smoker here, your best bet is to go to a local tobacconist and see if they have trial sizes or open blend jars to try out. That way you can see what you like and go from there. I prefer English blends with a good amount of latakia, but will occasionally smoke a virginia blend. It's all about finding what you enjoy. Pic related is one of my favorite tobaccos.
