I'm 21, doing dual major in IT and Spanish. I did a service learning trip to Guatemala where I helped teach a computer class to a poor community, which is my only classroom experience. I also have some tutoring experience from high school and early uni. The job I applied to is a local part-time position where I teach one-on-one at the local library or through Skype.

I hope so, though I've always found it easy to explain stuff to people. The best part about this job is that the work environment will be extremely comfy, which I think will improve my work ethic. I don't doubt that it will be easier than my service learning in Guatemala since all the kids there were crazy and struggled to do their work.

Applied to 8 different data entry jobs that pay anywhere from $15-$34/hr starting. The one that pays $34/hr called me back to do a skills test on Monday which consisted of basic Excel and Access shit. I guess I passed because they called me back on Wednesday to come in for an in person interview yesterday. No idea how I did but they said they'd let me know today and it's already 5:30pm.
