Do you think britfeel could survive a massacre?

By that I mean if Ebin or someone went on a rampage, do you think britfeel as a thread would get past it and continue to exist? I think in the initial aftermath, 80% of people would be too scared to return in case their IP was associated with it or something, 20% would stay even during the peak of news coverage, and eventually people who are dependant on it would slowly trickle back

Abedi was allegedly reported to authorities for his extremism by as many as five community leaders and family members and had been banned from a mosque;[57][58][59] the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester, though, said Abedi was not known to the "Prevent" anti-radicalisation programme.[60] On 29 May, MI5 launched an internal inquiry into its handling of the warnings it had received about Abedi and a second, "more in depth" inquiry, into how it missed the danger

Abedi transited through Dusseldorf airport on his way home to Manchester from Istanbul four days before the bombing.[70] French interior minister Gerard Collomb said in an interview with BFM TV that Abedi may have been to Syria, and had "proven" links with ISIS

You don't normally get accutane in the UK. Go to a GP and you'll probably get some antibiotics, they work very well and it'll visibly help over six months or so. You just take one in the morning every day when you wake up. They may also prescribe a cream you apply to the face before going to sleep, it works great but it's fairly harsh on your skin. Just see your GP and they'll throw some prescriptions at you that'll clear it up after a few months.

Mine cleared up after half a year and stopped recurring after the skin healed, getting rid of the scars is the hard part.

>>39149199
If you think it's effecting your life and you need help, then yes. If you don't want treatment but want to be diagnosed, it can't hurt. They won't make you do anything about it.

I'm not giving up yet.

I've received confirmation from my sixth form that they are willing to pay for all the remarks. Would have cost me near 200 quid otherwise. Now, I realise going from BBB to A*AA is pretty much an impossibility, but I believe it's highly possible that I can go up to ABB or even AAB. I had serious extenuating circumstances. I'll ask what the minimum grades that I would have been let in are. If they would have let me in with my remarked grades (my place is only now salvageable if I get A*AA, they can't show leniency even if they wanted to because it's all done automatically over UCAS), I will reapply for the next cycle (deadline October). I will reapply to the same college of course. They liked me enough the first time round to give me an offer, why not again? I will ask them how likely it is that I'd get an offer again though.

If they say the grades would still have needed to be a bit higher for them to have been willing to let me in, I will ask how they would feel about me reapplying whilst also resitting some of the exams.

This shouldn't have happened. I should be punting up the River Cam with clare college anon shouting at the normies. I should be sitting in that beautiful little library surrounded by hundreds of tomes whilst someone asks me if I'd like to come to the formal dinner with them. When I opened my results I felt a timeline shift. I've desperately trying to move on an accept I will be happy at my insurance, but I just can't see myself anywhere else. I was so close. This will haunt me for the rest of my life.

>inb4 you're being over-dramatic, it's not the end of the world, blah blah, etc.
This was the chance of a lifetime. The entire future I had planned for myself hinged on going to Cambridge. How would you feel if your entire world collapsed around you? I have nothing else, no friends, no hobbies. This was going to be the turning point in my life. Things were going to get better.

Are you doing a 3 or a 4 year course? If next year is your last year then the only chance of us meeting is if my remarks take me from BBB to A*AA, which would be a small miracle. Otherwise I may still get in, it would just have to be the year later because I'd have to reapply for the next cycle.

Is it me or are young people putting way, way too much emphasis on further education and fancy universities nowadays?

Only about 20% of degrees are actually worth doing, you get straddled with debt at a young age and you still have to find a job when you leave and get a shit minimal salary until you're at least 30.

Maybe I just don't get it.

Cut the "debt" argument though. That's such a non-argument in this country.

Tbh degrees are worthless because you leave uni at the same time as thousands with the same degree as you across the country.
Some practical jobs should be pushed more.
I wish apprenticeships at something you use your hands with and not sit at a desk were around when I was in high school, I feel that's where I'd enjoy to be.
>>
>>39151265
It's not real debt, it's more a de-facto tax increase.

They can't take your house (not that anyone under 50 will ever own one in this economy) over it.

>>
>>39151265
The debt isn't so bad for 75% of students because most of them likely won't even pay back the amount they took going to uni and it'll be written off. It's more like a graduate tax than a debt because you pay a flat rate back which doesn't change regardless of the amount you currently owe. The 'student loan' system is set up in a stupid way that doesn't really work and in fact encourages people to not pay it off.
>>
>>39151265
>>39151284
I've heard this before, why is it a non-argument? Uni comes out to 27k, you only start paying it off if you earn more than 17,775 a year. If you don't then interest just racks up every year and you end up owing more and more

The threshold is actually 21k, but you only pay back a flat rate of 9% over that limit. So in reality it doesn't matter if your debt is 5k or 500k, you pay back the same amount regardless.

It's not a debt, it's a tax.

So you're saying the amount of money you owe doesn't matter as long as you're paying back the same amount? I don't want to be paying it back the rest of my life, if I'm stuck in a min wage job then with interest+inflation it will keep on ramping up

You misunderstand again. Let's stick to plan 2 for now.

Suppose you're earning 20k a year, then you don't pay a penny back and if you never earn over that amount then you never have to pay it back and the debt is written off after 30 years, regardless of the amount it is or however much you paid.

Now a more realistic scenario is you start your job at 22k, because you're earning over 21k, you have to pay 9% of 1k back, so you pay 90 quid back in the same way you pay tax, it comes out of your paycheck. Now if you earn that amount for the next 30 years you would continue to pay 90 quid every year until the debt is written off, regardless of how much is left or how much you paid back.

It's best to think of it as another form of tax that comes out of your paycheck every year for anything you earn over 21k.

The only time when you need to actually consider if you need to actually pay it off, is when you earn enough money to pay it off in the 30 years. For example if you start at 40k and in 30 years earn 130k, then you should consider making voluntary contributions to pay it off quicker.

As a result, 75% of people will never pay it off, don't need to consider it and can think of it as a 9% tax rate.

I thought I was over my depression but I was in bed for hours thinking about how much I hate myself and my failure of a life.

This normie meme of life being worthwhile is idiotic. You're meant to work and contribute to society so that you get something out of it, but I'm a social outcast so I'll get nothing, no family, no success, and I hate myself. So what's the point? Basically to go on 4chan and play video games, and watch in jealousy as all the normie scum reap the happiness and steal it from me.

It's depressing when you realize as a beta you have no reason to exist basically.

I don't even have a mobile phone because parents give me zero allowance and my overdraft is constantly at -1500 pounds. Got a shit degree in History at a 2:2, no job ever, can't even find work now, but mostly I can't bring myself to do anything without getting worked up into a suicidal depressed mood.

Got no friends, maybe 2 people I see occasionally, even internet friends treat me like shit. I'm so beta I tried e-mailing a girl at uni and she said she was disgusted by me, ruined my confidence forever. Whenever I think about anything it just comes back to regret and a sense that I fucked up my life. Recently I got down to 14 stone and the depression started up again. Shit man, I dont want to be like that, I know I can be a normie but its not something I enjoy, I enjoy drinking and doing drugs but mainly when im chilling at home playing vidya or speaking to friends on discord, clubbing and all that shit just isnt me.
>>
>>39150610
All you "have" to do, if even that, is literally just say "You alright man/mate/whatever?", he says usual "yeah, you?" kinda thing, you reply with yeah, if you're feeling bold, yeah, because ____.
Done.
>>
>>39152068
Oh yeah, I was the heart and soul of every night mate
>>
>>39152111
Okay then.

I was also abused as a kid, my parents used to beat me and do somewhat sexual things when I was under 10, and then later on denied it. I try not to think about it, but they still treat me like a child, talk down to me in a babyish voice at 25, and take all my money while telling me I am worthless. It's a bit depressing mate.
>>
>>39152086
>cheap and doubtless dirty, shoes.
look at Mr Fancy over here with his clean shoes
>>
>>39152143

I buy new ones when they get stains on.
>>
>>39152137

Well then, there's clearly sexual charisma and entrepreneurialism in the family. You really ARE a disappointment!
>>
I still wear heelys, bitches are always jealous when i glide across the tesco shop floor and snatch the tendies from the reduced aisle
>>
>>39152208

I'm troubled by the fact that I'm not 100% certain this is a falsehood.
>>
>>39152227
You're not 100% certain because deep down you also want some heelys.
>>
>>39152065
>someone replies to you once
>you can now tell they're insufferable and gauge their IQ
calm down sherlock
t. guy you was originally replying to
>>
>>39152227
you're just jelly, you should try it sometime, once i heely'd around two whole aisles of sainsburys in one glide and i nearly pissed myself
>>
>>39152043
but he already said he's depressed about his personal circumstances so considering a majority of people with objectively worse circumstances are not depressed means he's a whiny little bitch

What a great start.

I suppose on the bright side I feel more grown up and will hopefully do the further education thing properly.

you give enough of a shit to reply to me

Picked up a leaflet about domestic abuse in LGBT relationships while at the therapist. Made me think of Ebin and Tilde.

My family doesn't get them because they're "unhealthy" which is ironic given the fact my parents brought home fucking 9 packs of those pink panther shitwafer biscuits just the other day

Lesbians are renowned for being abusive to their partners, and they have less of a sex life than any other pairing.
