I have an HP dv6 laptop I bought in 2013. It is the shittiest laptop but still has good specs.

I run pleb-buntu on it cause I run some code on it and don't want to deal with windows.

I bought my computer in like 2010 and I only upgraded the videocard, the PSU and added a bit of RAM. It's a Core 2 Duo @ 2.33 GHz, 4 GB RAM DDR2, and a Radeon HD 6870 with 1 GB. To be honest the only modern game I regret not being able to play properly is The Witcher 3, other than that, I have no complaints.

Laptop from 2008. The fan and graphics card have died. Performance is absolutely horrendous. Saving money for a good desktop.

my computer has been 100% rock solid stable all these years running at stock and i don't care to buy a new computer until this one dies on me as i can run every game i want at a decent frame rate in 1080p, besides i prefer to play games in 720p on the TV.

higher resolutions for gaming is a MEME, i've found 720 to be just right and higher is just stupid,only good for faggots to take big panoramic screenshots of some latest game and brag about their brand new rig, like who the fuck even cares thesedays.

Was running a godawful prebuilt toaster from 2009 which ran the first Borderlands on the absolute lowest settings with a framerate in the lower 20s at the very best and regularly dipped into the single digits. Though last year I did finally spring for a low-end laptop that is still somehow better than that thing but not a beast by any stretch of the imagination. Started using Linux in 2015.

The thing about this thread is that people just post their own computers and no one even reads anybody else's post.

It's from this year. I don't play games or anything, but my old one was basically about to break in half.

I have a Lenovo g50-45, with 6gb ram and 500gb hdd. It does what I need it to do. Mainly bought it because it was cheap, i think $175 at best buy for being "open box." I think it normally cost about $300 at the time that I bought it in 2015.

I built it in the fall of 2013. I poured way too much money into that thing only to become completely disinterested in gaming shortly after. I had money back then and, in hindsight, should have used it better.
