>starts sentence with "I mean"
>uses 'like' a gazillion times in a sentence
>>39130110
>>39130131
>tfw say "I mean, like" and "uh" a lot
I don't deserve to live
>>39130143
The 'uhs' and 'umms' need to go, don't fill the small pauses with them. You'll do better.
>"everyday"
>"unironically"
>no idea how to use commas
>uses Japanese words instead of normal ones
>"p much", "p good"
>"qt"
>"bae"
>>39130110
Saying "y'know" several times throughout a conversation really grinds my gears
>"I mean.."
>"No offense, but.."
>"Actually,"
>>39130186
this, if you are at a lack of words or need to reconsider your response; don't try fill the silence with either 'uhm' nor 'uhh'.
You'll appear much more confident to people when you take a small pause.
t. guy who works in sales
>says "literally" in every fucking sentence
that word has lost its meaning
>>39130295
>long pause
>stare off into the distance
>people get uncomfortable and start talking again
>too lost in own thoughts to listen
>>39130215
except when norm macdonald does it
>>39130110
"I mean" is one of the weakest, stupidest, normal-shit things you can say, and it feels like everybody is saying it now.
How weak and beta must someone be to have to preface everything they say with the assurance that they truly mean what they say?
How needy and self-validating can someone sink that every other sentence comes with a disclaimer, "I MEAN THIS, REALLY, NOT JUST SAYING IT TO SAY IT"
This phrase and "I'm not gonna lie" are such exclusive indicators of attention whore roasties and their approval-seeking beta males, that hearing it visibly makes me cringe.
>im just sayin
>>39130316
Thinks the concept of 'us' actually has a meaning....
you're LITERALLY ineffectual
>>39130208
>"qt"
What if I'm talking about the software framework?
>>39130279

>"I mean, it's like"
I can't stop doing this.
>>39130626

Orega
>have started ending sentences with "I think" "or something like that" "I wonder" and "kind of thing" from watching too much anime with characters that have retarded habits like that
>>39130353
Better to get better at shortening the gaps of silence than filling them with vocal garbage like um and uh.
>>39130110
>Actually
>Well
>You know
>>39131168
I want a friend who's only able to talk like an anime character.
>Doing calculus

>>39130110

>>39131609

>>39130110
>"problematic"
>"toxic"
>"red flag"
if you use almost all of these when you talk what are some good ways to train your brain to stop using these phrases. being quiet during pauses for example. using some of these phrases is so deeply embedded into the way i speak that i dont know how to fix it
