"I mean" is one of the weakest, stupidest, normal-shit things you can say, and it feels like everybody is saying it now.

How weak and beta must someone be to have to preface everything they say with the assurance that they truly mean what they say?

How needy and self-validating can someone sink that every other sentence comes with a disclaimer, "I MEAN THIS, REALLY, NOT JUST SAYING IT TO SAY IT"

if you use almost all of these when you talk what are some good ways to train your brain to stop using these phrases. being quiet during pauses for example. using some of these phrases is so deeply embedded into the way i speak that i dont know how to fix it
