People who knew you before the diagnosis are going to become frightened and sad because you aren't how they remembered you or your symptoms may progress.

Last reason, which I rarely encounter, there's just obvious stigma behind the syndrome.

The shitty thing about psychosis is there's no one to confide in. Norms don't understand how it's possible for a mind to run away with itself in that way. Neither did I until it happened to me.
