Fuck the "job search" meme, just go to your local temp job agency and they'll hook you up. I went in as a NEET, did a little test of middle school level math and they gave me a 40 hour $12.25/hr the very next day.

I have one and it's the worst. Being a salary slave is the most soul crushing, empty experience you will ever feel. I think about killing myself everyday and wish an accident would happen outside of my control so everything would just end.

I took a couple career aptitude tests and now understand better than ever how I should go about making a living. I also understand that these jobs have nothing to do with my passion in life, which I also happily have a grasp on. Things are going pretty well for me. Productive summer as far as ideas go.

the less unsavory fetish markets are probably already saturated, so you might need to whore yourself out as the artist of some of the most depraved images customers could desire but never otherwise obtain. I don't know, all I know is that porn commissions is big business right now, but you're selling your dignity as an artist to fulfill a lot of them.

I was a dishwasher for 4 months until the situation broke down, but I had a month and a half experience in a much more difficult environment prior to that, so it was bearable for that reason. I worked 16 hours a week for 4 hours a day.

I could have been a prep cook or an office assistant, though.

Guess i'll offer some resume tips that you all probably know already
>put education before work experience if you haven't had many jobs and you have good grades
>when writing about what you did in your job roles don't just state what you did, talk about the skills you applied (teamwork, communication etc)
>cater your cv to the job your applying for, usually just change around the person spec, highlighting skills you have that are relevant to the job
>in interviews when they ask "tell me about yourself" it's work and skill related. say you're hard working goal orientated, with evidence though. if you're in education you say your developing your knowledge on your course which has provided opportunities to work as part of a team and working towards strict deadlines
>for competency based applications when writing about a specific skill you need to state; where you were, what you did to show this skill and the outcome. It is also a good idea to follow this structure in interviews
>everyone lies on their CV, unless you're going for a government job, or something where they're definitely going to want to see your qualifications and obtain references, feel free to lie about gaps in your employment by adding in a few shitty retail jobs. Maybe boost your school grades up. This is a judgement call really, I regularly lie about my GCSE grades and my time in certain jobs, and have never been asked for evidence (Bong obviously)
