Aren't they illegal to have on you? Maybe I'd EDC a pair if I'm alive in post apocalypse but I'd rather have a crowbar or a fortified maglite and wield as a mace. Anybody who's ever been seriously injured or who has seriously injured somebody will trap your hand and punch you in the nose upwards of 8 times.

That's what I'd do if an aggressors started slyly reaching.
At the very least I'd create distance, and try to find things to place between us/hurt you with.

For some reason, where I live having one of this on you is just as illegal, if not even more illegal, than carrying fixed edge knife. That said I like brass knuckles, they can add much damage to your fist and will also protect your bones(to a certain extent)
