OP: Not sure if it will have the same effect. Honestly learning virtually any normie instrument is a great and reasonably easy thing to do if you want to make it with girls. It's something interesting to talk about and if you blag it well it can make you seem really cool.

i don't think i'm a good singer. i'm a natural bass and i have a very small range, and i don't like the timbre of my voice. but i can hit the notes i'm trying to in a song and that's all you really need to not sound like absolute garbage. i go to open mics occasionally and i get good feedback, and i've played little shows for cash around town a few times. hoping to record an ep soon.
