How often do you read?
>>39047983
I've never read anything in my life.
>>39048005
Not even for school?

Just finished reading the GoT series so now I wanna do something without fantasy. Any recommendations robots?
>>39047983
Pretty much only vidya, TV/movies and internet stuff
>>39047983
Daily, and exclusively non-fiction
>>39048039
Straight D's, still passed, somehow.

I used to read so much when I was younger, now it's like I'm too depressed to read a novel. My attention span is shit now too
Every evening before i sleep. Reading in your bed with a comfy quilt is the best
>>39047983
I try and read at least 5 to 10 pages before I go to sleep from whatever book I'm reading at the moment, pic related. Usually more if I have the time/energy.

If you like history, Antony Beevor has some great books on WWII. The Battle of Stalingrad is the one I'd reccomend starting with.

Best way to read. Makes sleeping incredibly easy and relaxes my mind.
>>39047983
Daily, prob an average of 40-50 min every night. About to finish The Way of Kings and gonna go back to my beloved Jane Austen afterward
>>39048050
I just finished American Gods by Neil Gamon, good read. If you like the "epic" scope of ASoIaF you might like Dune as well.

History is always a good read. Might look into it. Thank you Aryan anon

Learning is one of the few things I genuinely enjoy.
Im currently getting into reading more serious than before. Currently im reading 1984, also looking for something new to read next. For /lit/, this question gets denied & ignored alot, since im looking for something similar in themes as Oyasumi Punpun.
read nhk novel, really liked that one. Into the wild was great aswell

Try reading Michel Houellebecq novels (especially Whatever).
>>39047983
Fairly often. Bought a Kindle some time ago which has increased it substantially.
Some philosophy, pretty much anything with an interesting story and anything you can learn something from.
>>39048546
1984 was a great book.
If you haven't already, I'd suggest Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
>>39048005
You read this post.

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but are you guys not American?
1984, Fahrenheit, and (not mentioned but associated) Animal Farm were mandatory reads in most American school districts
>>39049683
I'm not.
We didn't get any foreign books to read as assignments during school.

Thank you for understanding my joke, anon.

I either get a headache after two sentences, or I demand to read the whole 10 book series in one sitting(no sleeping or anything), neither promotes a lot of reading.
Once a day; I study a lot.
pretty much constantly I'm reading an article or a book or something
>>39047983
Used to be pretty often. Couple years ago I read 50 (non-genre-shit) books in a year. Lately, I can barely read a few sentences. It comes and goes, y'know
