The last really good movie I watched was Martin. 1977 film about a teenager who may or may not be a vampire. Really fucking excellent for robots, I highly recommend it. The sound direction was especially good, if anyone knows where to find the soundtrack I'd be really grateful.

No but seriously, The Shack was okay. I get what it was going for but at least in the movie the point didn't always come across that well. I did like the feminine representations of the divine though I'm sure some rage because of it.

I've seen A Dark Song a month ago and it was a great self-contained, atmosphere heavy horror film. The dynamic between the two main characters was great and it was really well thought out, if you're into well crafted horror films that don't rely on cheap thrills and can offer you something interesting, definitely recommend it.

Any of you guys watched Trainspotting? I watched the first movie before the second came out. I loved both of them but the fact that the second movie takes place in plot 20 years after the original movie, but was also filmed 20 years after the first movie in reality really blew my mind. It even has the same actors.

Was really quite the experiance.

Not a horror film, although it has some elements of it, but it's more of a thriller, check out I Am Not A Serial Killer from 2016. Main character has a really nice development throughout it and I'd say it's one of the rare cases where autism is done right. The synopsis may sound edgy, but the film is hardly that and it also has a neat villain. Also uses William Blake's poem Tiger nicely to fit with the film's themes and it's quite enjoyable and comfy. Definitely check that one, two.

Think it was They Live, which was a while ago now. Good film, although the fight scene is a little overrated

last one I saw was Ghost Writter by Polansky, okayish, good atmosphere, kinda long, not a fan of political thrillers, Ewan McGreggor is a cool guy I hope to meet him someday, the las 20 minutes if the film were better than the other 2 hours

Last great film I watched was Okja by BJ Hoo, I waited months like a fan girl for the film and it worth it pay the on demand, watch it if you want to se a qt loli fighting the world

If you're into Carpenter and schlocky shit, watch Vampires. It's nothing special, but rather fun action film filled with one liners and with a great leading actor, James Woods. Also, have you seen Videodrome? If you're into 80's, watch it, it's Cronenberg's best and one of the best sci-fi films out there.

It's the greatest war film ever and aged rather well. I'd recommend the book + Storm Of Steel if you're into WW1 once you finish the film. IF you liked Paths Of Glory, you'll love this one.
Also, don't let the age be a problem, there are a good amount of old films that hold fairly well, the most mainstream example being Orson Wells's Citizen Kane.

I decided to rewatch eternal sunshine of the spotless mind for the 3rd time, i never watch movies but that is fucking amazing. Also love Jim carrey, love his serious role in this movie. Alot of the actors got to improvise in the movie, except him, which made him really irritated while filming this movie.
