they arent going to show themselves. If anything we will find them. No luck so far, even though we can look like 4 billion lightyears ahead. And that limit also is only there because the universe literally isnt old enough for us to see more. The better your understanding of physics are the more you realize that finding or reaching aliens even is impossible. Its also impossible for the human race to leave the star system for at least 10k years and even then it wouldnt make sense because you couldnt make proper contact with the ones on earth.

The distances in the universe are too great, this solar system is all we have. Everything good is here. Why leave even? Every planet other than earth is extremely uninteresting. So in a way, you are already at the best place you can be. Imagine there was some kind of utopia 10 million lightyears away and we could only watch it but never get there, that would be the real hell.
