I've been playing a lot of Isaac recently. It's fucking tough but there's a lot in this game.

i bought that and hollow night over the steam sale this summer. hollow knight is also really good, there are quite a few bosses that are hair-pullingly difficult, the lore, artwork and music are great, and over all it's a lot of fun. i can't do justice to it in a few words, but it's really fantastic.

Thief Gold and Thief: The Metal Age are nostalgic and comfy. If you don't like Gold then try metal age as it is quite different and 100x better.

Dragon Age Origins, I know Bioware gets a lot of shit but Origins is often bundled into it because "Dragon Age" but Origins was really good. Its probably one of the best RPGs in terms of creating a character you can roleplay and develop. Your relationships with each character will always be different, they're lead along a story that impacts them and they impact with their choices. The choices aren't just generic good/evil choices and a lot are pretty grey and more about what your character would decide in that moment. Some of them really make you think.
