I've only read into Christians ones but, monasteries usually have trial periods for recruits before taking you on fully. You have to be religious too and it's demanding so not everyone is cut out for it. Started today. Currently out of shape, no real muscle mass after a year away from the gym, Despite the low number of reps, it was hard as shit. My legs hurt like fuck from the squats. When I went cold turkey off them years ago I had these looping thoughts and a voice shouting at me to kill myself. I literally ran out of my house without any shoes on in t shirt and boxers and started running because I had no idea what was going on and I was terrified. I just went to the local park and ran in circles until I realised what must be happening and ran back home and took a valium. It was about 1am.

Another time my entire body siezed up after I had some alcohol (benzos and alcohol affect the same system in your brain).

The trouble with them is that they're so, so fucking good at their job. If you suffer from anxiety the first few months on them is like a gift from God; you finally feel normal after a lifetime of fighting your own brain. But it comes at a cost and can ruin your life if you're not careful.

I don't think I'll ever be the same person I was before. Some of the more disturbing thoughts I had while coming off them still haunt me to this day.

Some cunt used to park over my driveway and I first asked him not to do it again, and he didn't for a few weeks, but then he started it again. I saw a PCSO walk down the street and pointed out to her that this guy keeps parking over my driveway and I've tried speaking to him about it but nothing helps.

I asked her to get him to move it if possible but he wasn't it, I asked he he could be fined/towed and she said she'd rather have a word first when she can, as I didn't need the car urgently. Im not op but, cannabis is a dangerous class B drug that has numerous proven bad health effects such as cancer, mental illness etc and is illiegal for a reason as it is damaging to ones health.
Yes im aware it has good effects in regards to treating diseases and illnesses etc, but dont you think big pharma would have explotied that by now if they werent aware of the adverse side effects that come with the drug?

To further add taking illegal drugs makes you a law breaker a defier of doing what is unsafe in the eyes of medical practioners and scientists that have come to the conclusion that is should be banned for the saftey of the public.
In taking canabis your not caring about what effects it has on your body and simply taking it for your own nihlistic recreational purposes to get high, thus making you a danger due to the fact you might pressure others into doing it not to mention cost the NHS thousands in money that could be better spent else where and not on a disease caused by your own selfish disregard for the law.
