It's mostly just a meme, like most things. It's also in part because most INFP who are outgoing enough to post like to whine and roleplay as anime girls and and generally confirm the stereotypes.

Why have you posted this outside of the MBTI thread? It's still up. I don't mind but I'm confused.

I've never seen the stereotype an awful lot, even here, much less IRL. I don't mind being teased terribly much, but I just don't get it.

Any other INFPs having lots of trouble imagining themselves being happy ever? I'm just thinking about how even things I used to love and still define myself around like reading and writing don't really bring me any sort of lasting happiness anymore.
I know it's super edgy and makes me sound like a teenager, but I honestly often feel like the world just isn't made for people like me. I just feel like no one else is interested in any romantic ideas about things, they're just interested in politics or memes.

I have difficulty having or affecting interest in 90% of things people say so I have a lot of trouble making friends.

Let's see...

INFP's are literally backwards humans. Common traits of INFPs include
>highly sensitive and prone to anxiety and stress
>care about others (sometimes more than themselves)
>secluded and scared of the outside world

Humans, like all living organisms in this world, need to be strong enough to survive. Even if we're not likely to die from predators anymore, the constant state of stress is still an issue we must face and overcome. INFPs are avoidant of stress and handle it poorly. If we were subjected to nature's way, we would most likely have been killed a long time ago.

Additionally, and this is the more applicable issue with INFPs is that they care about others more so themselves. In a world where people can and will only rely on, truly love, and understand themselves and no one else, being an INFP who hates themselves or loves others more than themselves is like rooting for the enemy. Akin to a deer marinating itself before it presents its hindquarters to a lion.

INFPs are freaks of natures that, to be honest, should be killed. Society is like life support for weak willed soft INFPs. In society, they can maybe eke out a living as an artist or a musician. But they will never achieve anything greater than that.

Keep dreaming, boys. I'm an INFP and I hope that one day I can be anything else.

I haven't really thought about my being an INFP for a while. I don't come to /r9k/ much anymore.

I ended up joining the Navy, thinking it would teach me discipline, force me to meet people, get out and see the world. Might even get laid. Fast forward to about 6 or 7 months now, still in school. Nothing's changed
>spend at least 10 hours a day on 4chan
>masturbate at least every other day
>physical fitness has hit a decline, begining to retain fat for the first time in my life
>diet is trash, nothing but takeout and junk food
>hygiene went down the toliet
>Easily dumber now than I've ever been
>never call my family
>spend my days playing video games or trying to learn to draw, so I can draw more fucking porn
>sleep schedule's going to shit, this is seriously a problem now
>Never leave my room
>wasting my feeble gubmint paycheck
