I cope with it with a lot of practice and effort. I go to therapy every week for an hour, work out 4 times a week, take sleeping medication, and regularly still see specialist doctors every few months. I've been dealing with this healing process basically for 4 years with moderate improvement but I've personally come to terms with the fact that managing this health condition will likely always be a part of my life. It will always impact my effectiveness and capabilities in life and I will need to spend a lot of time managing it that could be used pursuing work or hobbies.

I'm a leaf so it's covered as long as I don't miss a session. If I miss a session I have to pay $115 maple bucks for the session so I assume that's around what it would cost you out of pocket. The other clinics I go to cost different amounts for different treatments I've tried a lot of the newer therapies hoping to get help sleeping more than 3 hours a night without heavy sedatives because that's the most impactful symptom I deal with. Those can be around $70-$150 a session for stuff like neurofeedback, cold laser therapy, and magnetic field therapy.

You can try EMDR therapy, CBT therapy, or exposure therapy. Either way you have to deal with your fears and stand up to them or it will just get worst with time.
