I have student loan debt through the government. I haven't paid shit and I'm not going to. All student loan debt will be forgiven sometime in the next 20 years after higher education reform happens. Why not just pick up a trade and run with that until you feel the desire to pursue higher goals. You earn money so you can directly fund your education so that it's a net investment rather than a debt and if said university degree doesn't work out you can always fall back on your previous work experience, again without debt.
