It's possible but the lack of any friends or relatives can be debilitating. Even if you go out and try to rehabilitate your NEETdom you'll still suffer for years before you get any sort of reward for all the bullshit you'll put yourself through. When I turned 24 I got a job at pizzahut, went to the gym and started to lose weight and lift, contacted an old buddy from high school to hang out again, and some other gay shit. Truth is I found myself more miserable for a while as I forced myself to change because dealing with normies and the real world after you've been a recluse for 5-6 years is just absolutely fucking mentally draining. At least when you're on 4chan and watching anime all day you're numb.

I suppose it gets better but don't hold me to it. I still don't have a purpose in life. I guess the only thing that's kept me from driving into oncoming traffic during my morning commute is the small glimmer of hope that I might eventually make something of my pathetic life. I live in my own one bedroom apartment and I'm in pretty good shape physically (down to 190lbs from 250 3 years ago). A couple of friends too.

My honest advice this time OP is that you should get your blood movong every morning with a walk or (if so inclined) run/bike. This will improve your optimism and ability to focus. I am a medical student currently on vacation and even I can't focus for shit if I don't get my blood flowing in the morning. First thing is best but be easy on yourself if you struggle to become disciplined. Once you have some discipline, only then be harsh on yourself to keep it.
