The 3 Rules:
1. Change the catalog settings to "Creation date" instead of bump order.
Every fast board on 4chan goes to shit, and usually for the same reason: 4chan rewards post frequency rather than post quality. If an OP takes longer to read or requires more thoughtful replies, it tends towards the back of the catalog, while short, provocative threads which prompt single words or image dumps do relatively well. Take /b/ as an extreme example.
/r9k/ is currently so fast that new threads wind up in the doldrums in the back of the catalog within about five minutes. That's a very short window, and so threads which survive have to be pedestrian and easy for everybody to reply to. Threads which demand thoughtful posts or expertise disappear quickly. Sorting by creation date gives new threads a larger reply window and makes it much easier to find good content.
2. Filter and ignore bad threads.
You see black dick every day because retards bump race bait threads by calling them part of a Jewish conspiracy. Don't reward shitty content by giving it public attention, regardless of who it's coming from.
3. Bump good threads.
If an OP clearly had effort put into it, or could turn into something worth reading, bump it when it's at the back of the catalog. Even if you have nothing to say, if something's on page 8 it will probably die, so your bump can't hurt. Keeping good threads alive is the best way to save /r9k/. Also, effortposters will feel more much more appreciated if their thread is bumped than if it dies empty.

Yes? Here are some quick ways to do so.
First off; get a Hitler youth haircut, I don't care if it doesnt suit your hair or if you prefer to look like a fucking girl from behind, this is what is seen as cool so you gotta make sacrifices
Secondly; get a gym membership. This applies to everyone but especially the fat fucks. I'm not saying you need to look like Arnie but go to the gym at least once or twice a week so people can respect you as a human being and not a giant waste of space, and it'll give something for you and your new bros to talk about.
Now a tricky bit, you got to learn a new persona. 99% of the time it's your shitty personality that means you're a loser with no friends. I'd recommend a generic bro personality but you can try something different depending on who youre aiming to hang out with. For the bro personality, call everyone "mate" and spend 1 minute a day following <insert sport here> so you have something to talk about with your bros. That 1 minute of time can make up 30 minutes of discussion with a lot of meatheads. Also laugh at everything even if it isn't funny and chime in with anecdotes occasionally even if you have to make them up.
Next, find a gf, I don't care if you've never talked to a girl before it's easy to get a gf if you aim low enough, which you will need to do to start with. You can find low hanging fruit literally everywhere, but if you are struggling just go to a bar and hook up with the most desperate girl there. Even having an ugly gf will make people respect you more, and will make you wayyyyy more approachable to attractive females who you'll have a greater than 0% chance with now.
