I didn't even eat that much cake. It was like 3 spoonfuls. I still feel a little sickness in my stomach, but thankfully the urge to shit has somewhat gone away. The last time I even remember having diaherra was probably 10 years ago.

It probably wasn't the cake. Food poisoning usually takes 5-9 hours to occur. It could very well be something you ate earlier in the day. If you take pepto or tums the diarrhea with ease.
