I became an atheist when I was 13 years old, so I don't know on what level they think and see.

I remember how I disproved the existence of a god even if it sounds goofy now:

I believe if I had been inducted into Christianity I never would've become what I am, but nobody ever really cared to do so, so I was never told how to think about evil in the world.

When I was 14 I was struggling with identity and self-esteem issues. I tried my best to be as unique as I could by developing certain tastes, really wanted to get away from my abusive parents, and wanted a relationship with an older man who would guide me in life.

I thought I was really special, and I thought I needed to be sincere and real, but my version of sincerity was this disgusting saccharine cringe because I was naive and didn't know how the real world worked. You really want to have strong opinions and stand for something but you don't really have the resources to put any of it into context yet so it mostly just manifests itself in making vacuous statements about "society" and "the system"
