I used to come on /r9k/ regularly and I know that even though the board has gotten a lot more "normie" recently that there's still the subsection of depressed young adults who I used to identify with. And motivation is hard, so I really do hope this can help someone a bit.

Change is possible, you just need to find what you need to work on and actually do that.

Around me nothing changed, it's still shit. As before, I can get fatties only and even that is too much stress to handle.
