I'll never lose weight unless I stop the alcoholism. Alcohol has too many calories and it destroy my will to exercise.

I get closer to ordering pizza every day but so far I've resisted it

Dark chocolate is actually very good as long as it has low sugars and you can spare the calories.

I'm at 70 kg down from 110 kg back at xmas. I've now started running 5k three times a week to burn off the extra cellulite and to stimulate my metabolism. It's going pretty well bros.

>tfw I'm doing all of this just so I can be a trap

that being said, I've been starving myself for the last fews days so I can order an entire pizza all for myself today, arrives in 20 minutes, I can't wait.
>>

>>
>>38867494
One pizza here is 800-900 kcals, I'm trying to stay under 2000 kcals/day and now I don't get hungry even eating around 1400 kcals, so I could eat one pizza and not go too much over the limit
>>
>>38867527
>I'm not even memeing I seek your advice, fatbots.
Just "tie" your emotions into eating. Feel happy? Eat. Feel down? Eat even more. I gained 80 lbs in college because i was depressed asocial fuck up who relieved stress by eating anything in his vicinity.
>>
>>38867527
Eating big portions, eating many snack in between meals, drinking soda.
>>
>>38867547
But still, eat two pizzas, drink some coke and that's it for the rest of the day.
>>
>>38867539

>>38867586

If only you know. Majority of girls here are either gold diggers to the max or have long-lasting relationships since 17-18.
>>
I stopped eating between meals but now I eat more during meals.
When should I stop eating during meals, my bros.
>>
>>38867560
I guess that would work, sure. But the problem is when I'm stressed(which I have been lately, especially because of exams) I can eat 800-1000 kcals a day and not feel hungry at all. I went down from 69 kg to 63 in just under a year because of this and it fucking blows
>>
>>38867582
Once in a while, can't be too harmful, but it's not a great idea, just as much as I wouldn't eat one pizza every day just because I can do it and still be within my calorie goal.

Remember fellow Fatbros, ASPARTAME IS YOUR FRIEND, DIET DRINKS MAKE DIETING EASY

Aspartame being unusually toxic or carcinogenic is a URBAN MYTH. Many independent peer reviewed studies have confirmed this, however if you can't be bothered to do your research then this video explains it perfectly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaDaU_vu_iw

Seriously, give diet drinks a serious go, try out as many different ones as possible, back when I was a fatass I used to drink a lot of Irn-bru, when I switched to diet Irn-Bru I hated it. I then tried diet pepsi and diet Dr Pepper but I hated those two as well, eventually I discovered diet coke and it's my go drink now.

Seriously, I reckon I've saved myself around 400 kcal a day just by drinking diet drinks instead.
>>
>>38867423
Great! I quit drinking and smoking pot, got on an antidepressant that works for me, I'm seeing a therapist once a week, and I've dropped 17 pounds since last month. Still a long road ahead though!
>>
>>38867662
I used to drink 600 - 800 kcal just from coke. Now i switched for diet one. Atleast i'm not consuming that much of sugar everyday.

Water is better yes, but it's a lot harder to go from Coke to water, than it is Coke to Diet Coke

Making permanent change is all about taking small and steady steps in the right direction, especially in the case of low willpower fatties. Too many extreme changes at once they'll rubberband back to all of their old ways.
>>

Been seeing him for three months now. He's a goofy looking slightly pudgy 6 foot 9 guy, ex-juggler and stand up comedian. I can't make this shit up.

We mostly are focusing on my ADHD and executive functions these days. I went to an outpatient program for my MDD that I had a lot of success with. He's pretty eclectic in his methods, I give all his suggestions a shot, and if I feel like something isn't working, we change up our strategy for treatment.

What do you want to know?

Costs me thirty buckaroos a session. I do have some pretty rockin' healthcare though. Alright, let's see...
Nope! He never "forced" me to take meds. He does keep track of what I'm taking so he can monitor a change in my condition, but meds are prescribed by your doc or a psychiatrist. For more info, google psychologist vs psychiatrist.
He doesn't really do groups, but the outpatient program I went to was very group oriented. It was nice to see that MDD/anxiety is pretty universal. It doesn't care about race, creed, age, etc. There were a few qt's there, but recovery sessions are not an appropriate time to be hitting on people my dude.
I have been steadily dropping weight for the past month. I've heard weight gain is a possible side effect, everyone's biology is different. You may have to try a bunch of different meds before you get one that works. I did.

>getting bored while exercising

your only thought while exercising should be how grueling painful it is, and how much you want to quit. You're not working hard enough if you're getting bored.

Anyway, you don't need to exercise at that weight, when I was 220lb and started dieting I just ate much less until I got down to 160 and then I started exercising

What do you mean? Are you replying to the right post? Don't rely on using the mirror to judge your progress anyway. Use your scales, your mood and mind can play very cruel tricks on you. Even at 22 BMI I still feel disgusted with how fat I look in my own reflection.
>>
just start using DNP fatbots. your entire life can change for just a few hundred dollars. you will lose 30 lbs a month as long as you actually follow good eating habits. i mean, you don't even have to exercise.
>>
>>38867859
>ate much less
Anon >>38867755 here, how did you cope with that? I have a lot of disposable money and very weak willpower. I've tried eating less, but I just end up eating more small things in the interim to compensate. Being hungry, or at the very least, unsatisfied with a meal are almost unbearable for me.

>>
>>38868013
I ate a lot because I was often bored, or if it wasn't that, then it was because I was either stressed or sad.

As for the boredom part, I just learned to find things to occupy my attention with. I played a lot more video games and wrote more posts on 4chan. As for the stressed and sad part, I just forced myself not to eat. It was horrible for the first two week but eventually my stomach shrank and it became difficult to eat the right amount of calories.

Also, buy what you're going to eat days in advance, It's much easier to go to your kitchen and cheat on your diet, than it is going to your local corner shop.

Also also, learn to hate yourself. Take the most unflattering pictures of yourself that accentuate the worst of your fatty facial features and constantly compare yourselves to others. Maybe this tactic is not for the more melancholic, but it really worked for me, I love myself now, because I hated what I was back then.
>>
>>38867423
After only gaining weight when trying to diet, I got a stomach virus and lost appetite for 4 days, I think I'm motivated to actually start now

Pretty good. I'm down 42lbs.

386 to 344 in 2 months.

I just signed up for a gym (planet fitness) and need some tips on what to do. What are some good exercises for someone still as big as me. I was thinking of just getting on the bike so it's easier on my joints.
>>

>GH levels increase over 100% while fasting , meaning you won't lose the muscle you never had and won't turn into a faggot

>>
>>38868194
>I was thinking of just getting on the bike so it's easier on my joints.
That's a good point. You should take rowing, swimming or cycling. Running would fuckup knees too much.
>>
>>38868194
Do lifts that involve chest and arms if you're too heavy to do lower body excerise , cardio is a meme for women , lifting burns so much more

use the ellipticals with light resistance. it's the easiest machine to raise your heart rate and start sweating

bikes are easy on the joints, but it's hard to keep momentum and get your HR up
>>
>>38868201
He's right that's what I'm doing.
This is me.
>>38868194

I haven't exercised yet but on the keto diet the weight just drops. I also dontbhave cravings like on other diets I've tried. I'm only now doing exercise because I'm the keto diet I have a lot more energy and get restless not doing anything so I thought why not burn it off at the gym. I really think obese bots should try the keto diet.
>>
>>38868184
Interesting. I lash out or withdraw emotionally when negative feelings take over, so I guess I'm not an emotional eater, not consciously anyway. As for that other stuff, comparing myself to others is actually what de-motivates me. I don't even want a six pack or strength, I just want to fit into something below a 2X shirt for once.

I appreciate your insight but I think I might just be a lost cause for weight loss. Even if I did reach ~200 I'd probably just eat my way back in a few months. It's gonna take something traumatic or truly humiliating for me to be scared off big boy life for good.
>>
>>38867898
Read what I posted. Nope, the eye contact thing was just a fringe benefit.

Every group is likely to be different, but the structure of mine was:
A "process" group. Everyone says their name, what they're struggling with, and how the day before went. Then we had a subject related to MDD/anxiety and we talked about it.

I lost 40lbs in 5 months then gained it all back in 2 months.
It wasn't my fault. Basically, I lost weight by keeping a bookshelf full of handwritten, 50 page novels that I wrote between meals. It was the only thing keeping me from eating, as I would distract myself with the novels. The novels were all about fucking food, so I would write a 50 page erotic novel where I fucked a calorie for example, or a 50 page horror story about the local KFC becoming haunted. But, 5 months in I burnt it down by mistake. I was fucking pissed about it because the paper and pens etc were fucking costly, so I couldn't distract myself and got very fat.
Hopefully I can get back in the swing soon.

Serious depression. The type that you don't even leave your bed because you feel the world caving in on you. When you do leave, you go to some shitty drive through and order a days worth of food to keep all human interactions to a minimum. Of course that employee is attractive and you know that they will never be with you and are clearly judging you and the bags of food she's handing you.

Don't get fat, stay strong.

Starting to lose weight and leave the house was the best thing I did.

Who here /keto/?

I went hardcore on it for a month and lost 20 lbs, most weight I've lost in my life. I haven't kept up with it for a while though since going on vacation got me out of routine but I've seriously cut my appetite down and I'm at least maintaining my current weight and not going up.

But honestly, keto is the way to go. Just cut out carbs and sugars, eat as much meat as you want and watch the weight melt off. Didn't have to exercise either, for that whole month I pretty much just sat around on the computer and still lost weight.

Decent. I my weight has dropped slightly, but my muscule mass has greatly increased. Everymight for the past two weeks I would go out on a walk around midnight and walk 6 miles with 10lb dumbells and do curle ups the entire time. If I was too sore to walk I would take a dab hit to act as a painkiller, under the influence of a dab for the first 1:15 minutes you feel no pain and can do as many curle ups as you wish without feeling any lactic acid.

I used to drink every day. Like 9-12 beers and potato chips every night before bed. Just that was 2000+ calories alone. I'd get fast food and takeout a few times a week too. Really just eating and drinking as much as I wanted of whatever I wanted.

It was expensive and unhealthy so I decided to institute some rules. Drinking is limited to two days a week on Friday and Saturday. One fast food / takeout cheat meal is allowed each weekend, I haven't had any for a while though. That's it. My diet aside from that was pretty healthy before, it was mostly all the drinking that made me fat. Most days I actually eat more now than I did before. I count calories and try to stay away from things that are really calorie-dense. Most of my meals are 300-500 calories, I eat bigger meals too though and I drink soda and sugary iced tea and lemonade. If I wanted to be more serious I'd probably drop the liquid calories and go water-only but for now I don't need to. A can of coke or a cup of iced tea with a meal is nothing compared to a 12 pack of beers.

Generally I try to stay under 1000-1200 calories a day but some days it's up to 1800 when I feel like eating a lot. Never more than that though except on cheat days. My average daily deficit is probably around 1000 calories.
