Better than super hot water which is rough on your hair and skin. Maybe you won't get all the benefits of cold water (I personally doubt I do as my water doesn't get that cold as well) but lukewarm water isn't as rough on the skin/hair as hot water and more comfortable than going for a freezing cold shower

Depends how ghetto your house is in Arizona. I know we get cold water naturally in the shower, although I take showers room temperature water. Sometimes cold shower during the summer. I don't like hot water.

Started taking them about two weeks back in a bid to wake myself up and feel less groggy during the day. I think I'm sort of used to them now and the only thing that's kinda nice about them is the water hitting my head and face after I'm all lathered up.

Maybe I should shower more often...

I always get cold showers as part of my post workout recovery routine. Nothing better than jumping from the sauna to the ice bath to the cold showers. Really makes those nips pop, and get me feeling extra thick, solid and tight for the drive home.

You get used to them mate. At first you'll probably find it hard to catch your breath but that'll pass. I find its a lot easier though if you gradually wet your body. Like, do an arm, then a leg and so on.. After a few days your body will become used to it.

Seriously, there are actual health benefits to this, people used to do it to help themselves get over sickness and stuff. It's super-stimulating and keeps your skin in good condition too because of all the blood being brought to the surface.
