they work really well...at making you a limp dick
No. Dont start taking them. I want to quit, but everytime I do, I get sick.
Not worth the effort. Just start a healthy diet and it will help you more in the long run

First time I took 50mg of sertraline was amazing, I thought they were normie pills and going to change my life, I felt excited and I swear to god my visual field expanded and the world around me seemed wonderful again. But this effect gradually tapered off even as I increased my dose to 200mg and eventually I could barely tell if it was doing anything at all.
After this I tried bupropion and mirtazapine which may have offered some minor improvement but not as much as the sertraline. Around this point my psychiatrist retired and I didn't bother getting another one.
Needless to say, your experiences will vary, but I think they're worth trying if you're depressed. Best of luck anon
They suck. When I was on them for some time, I just felt more energized but a lot more tired too. That energy didn't help me at all because I couldn't focus on anything for more than 5 seconds. Dropped them and not even thinking about shit like antidepressants anymore
Been on venlaflaxin for about 1.5 years, started with low dosage up to 75 mg.once when i took the 37,5 ones a few weeks, i experienced bursts of euphoria that lasted for half a Day or so but i am unsure about how much could actually be credited to the drug but i do think some of it at least. Once i got used to the higher dosages it just kept me in a constant murky, grey state. I was more alert and awake than in my deepest depression s but i was unable to feel anything really positive or joyful i even thought of the Sun being less bright and other irrational shit like that. But the worst thing was, when i ran out of the 75mgs i had full blown withdrawal, heightened heartrate, hallucination and most of all a feeling like my head spinning extremely fast and my lower lip feeling cold and numb. I was unable to walk to the drug store to get more meds because i had no sense of equilibrium. And it took very long to lower the dosage and evwntually get rid of them completely. Would not recommend venlaflaxin at least dont believe the doc if he tries to tell you it is not addictive. It is, even on the low dosages i took it (it goes up to over 225 mg and i only had it up to 75) and already felt like a degenerate drug addict

Too them for a couple of years. They didn't do dick. Went cold turkey and stopped taking the pills. But hey, that was me. It may work for you.

Yep! Take a lot of working with your doc though. I had to try three different ones, each for a month at least, before I found one that worked. Between that and therapy, I feel better than I have in 5 years.

Get a different anti-depressant, Anon.
Been on them for 3 years.
The lows aren't as low, but it doesn't magically make you social or fix issues with your personality. I don't feel constantly shitty, but whenever I realize that I'm still a lonely pile of garbage I revert back to shit for a few days.
So they're hit and miss and dependent on how you use them.
