That will only happen with lower doses. Higher doses will make you lose conciousness much faster.

If you want the fastest death, your best bet would be to inject 1g of potassium cyanide intravenously. That dose administered that way would probably kill an elephant in seconds, let alone a human

Death by cyanide (if you take enough) will render you unconscious within minutes, and probably kill you soon after.

I'd choose opiate od any day
