I've done both. I like acid a lot more because it's just easier to eat and I'm still able to function pretty normal around people. There's an electrifying, stimulating feeling to acid that I like but I like that shrooms feel more natural. Hate the body load though. But shrooms are great from my experience, I just really hate eating them. The headspace is definitely a lot more interesting than acid but the thought loops can be the start to a bad trip. I think it's easier to have a bad trip on shrooms than acid but that's just me. I have a high tolerance to acid and haven't done shrooms in awhile but I'd say the visuals are not that different from each other

I tried Kratom years ago, before I had a huge tolerance to opiates like I do now, and it still didn't do anything for me. I took it several times and never was able to get it to do anything. I tried multiple suppliers and ended up throwing away a lot of expensive Kratom because it just didn't work. The only time it did something was when I took a ridiculous amount one night, felt nothing, then went to bed. The next morning I literally could barely walk to the bathroom to piss. I was fucked up more than I'd ever been. Even then, I still wasn't high.

I haven't done a lot of drugs and it is my first disassociative but every DXM trip is different.
I've had times were I was very open and had amazing conversations in a chat room I frequent or times where I texted a bunch of people
I'll try and be brief but I've tripped about 7 times or so?
First trip, I took it with Guaf in it and got sick as shit and just ended up teleporting between my bed and chair, trying to listen to music but getting sick as fuck because Guaf makes you sick, Was still very fun and there was a lot of halllucinations
Next few trips are hard to remember exactly, they all kind of blend together. I just felt connected and had great conversations, Was very open with people and with myself, Usually talked for about 3 hours while coming up then had 2 hours of tripping and mind exploration

My latest few trips have been pretty great. I started doing a lower dose of 350mg and I don't trip out as much and I just feel really great and connected with the world, All my anxiety, depression is gone yet all my problems are and I start to think deeply about them and objectively but I don't really stress over them as much as become aware. I smoked it out a methpipe, the thing is it burns very easily so you shouldnt let the flame actually touch the glass, heat it slowly until a thick smoke builds up and try and take it all in one hit. I done it a few times didn't really like it you just trip way too hard like you go from sober to extremely high in an instant I'm kinda past just tripping out seeing pretty colours and patterns and hallucinating.

About 100-125 mg a day. Dissociatives may not be considered physically addicting but that sure as fuck was not the case for me. Horrible headaches, anxiety ramped up 10x fold, and my whole body just ached and hurt constantly. I do, I got diagnosed with it as a kid.

It was fairly manageable though, I'd developed quite a lot of self-discipline.
I could force myself to do things, it was hard, but I could do it and was used to doing it.
Then I got medication and it wasn't such a struggle any more.
I largely lost the discipline I had developed, I just didn't need to exercise it any more.
I didn't have to force myself, I could just do it.
Then I developed a tolerance, now everything seems even harder than before, and I've lost whatever ability I had to cope with it.
I don't feel like I can deal with life without it any more.
