College is starting again in a few weeks, are you ready?
What are you going to do this semester that you didn't do last semester?
my very best! oh yes ! i'll do whatever it takes me to succeed
whatever!!
i'll study day and night!
i'll have group studies
and i'll overcome my anxiety and ask the teacher
i'll show them
i'll show the whole world
i'm going to do my bestest best
I will study for realz now, drink less, try to get friends (impossible but must try). I bet I'll relapse in a month though.
I'm starting my major courses this semester. Im officially turbo psyched to start studying German.
it's my second semester.
looking forward to comfy fall/winter school.
hopefully a qt makes me her bf desu.
there's always more ugly mexican girls than qties in my classes though so i try to keep ambitions low.
taking a french class, a writing one, and music theory.
I'm finally enrolling into college in 2018 I plan to go to eku. I'm 26 what is college like
I just finished my summer final today. It was hell. A LOT harder and longer than all of our other tests. He basically took the hardest questions from every section and slapped it on there. And I say this as someone who had a 98 in the class going into the final.
>>38834677
I'll also add that I hated the class because there were a select few people who were lazy and dumb. We wasted the first hour of class EVERY SINGLE DAY going over the previous night's homework from a few people, then rushed through the daily section just to start the cycle over again. Caused us to fall 2 weeks behind (in a 10 week course), which made us finish the final chapter this week, have the chapter test yesterday, and the final today.
>set to move to big city and transferring to a good school after 2 years at community college
>friend I was going to get an apartment with gets forced to live in on-campus dorms by his parents
>can't afford to live in the dorms
>no one willing to room with me
>not even through Craigslist or the off-campus roommate facebook group
>parents making me commute from the suburbs every day for an hour and a half in each direction
>Have to do this for 3 years
Probably won't make it through this winter, lads.
>>38835014
How creepy are you that someone off of craigslist won't let you rent a room for a few hundred a month?
>>38835048
I don't think I'm creepy at all, it's just that nobody's responded.
>>38835160
Well don't look for a room mate, look for someone willing to rent you a room on one of the 5 CL boards dedicated to that. I don't even live in a big city and there's a lot of recent posts saying "renting room/basement/attic 600$/month" which is imo better than an apartment.
>tfw spent another summer break getting drunk and basically doing nothing besides wagecucking
>could have picked up an instrument or learned a bit of a foreign language, but I was uninspired the whole time
I'm going into my freshman year of college in four weeks. Can any of you robots tell me how you beat your meat in a dorm room?
>>38835622
Just ask your roommate what his schedule is, and beat off when he's in class. I only had my roommate walk in on me once.
>>38835622
Assert dominance and do it while he's standing there trying to get ready for class. Bonus points if you're on top of your sheets.
>>38832255
I'm looking forward to it since it will be my first semester, I'm gonna study CS. I just hope that I'll meet sympathetic people who share my interests. Any tips on how to make friends at university?
>>38833371
Ey du Luder
>>38835931
If you want to make friends at uni, go to societies/clubs that are tailored to your interest.
>>38832255
College blows man it's only a stepping stone to social and financial and cultural and spiritual endeavors and pursuits in life
I hated it. Really enjoyed the classes that wasnt required like my geography classes but hated my english classes cause the very first essay due was about my gender. I even asked in front of the entire class that if im a male and you are a female, how can I really write about it. Then liberal propaganda came out from them and I basically dropped out. Coudlnt deal with that shit. Managed 1.5 years. 3 semesters. Thats sad af
>>38832255
Going into my third year now.
Last year I had a mental breakdown, I barely went to lectures at all, stayed in bed until 5pm in the evening most days and hardly ever saw the sun in the sky. I fell behind in my studies quite significantly. Yet somehow I passed, just barely scraping by. Literally. I just barely passed.
I hope I don't do the same thing this coming year, because if I do then I'll just have to drop out.
I think I can do it this year though. I'll just devote myself entirely to academics. I won't bother with anything else like socialising. I've pretty much given up on women, and that was one of the things I wasted my time on last year.
>>38836139
You were studying humanities I assume? A noble practice, but honestly one better done at home than in the contemporary academic setting. Maybe if it were 40 or 50 years ago you might have had a chance to study humanities in a college and actually get a worthwhile education, but not nowadays since it's oversaturated with SJW types.
I prefer reading at my own pace than being dictated to anyway.
>>38836259
actually I was majoring in Geography (GIS) Physical Science and Natural Resource and Environmental Studies.
>European master race so new semester starts in September or October (honestly no idea)
>spending all my time being comfy and smug
>will begin my second semester of what you would call CS prob
>didn't even go to the math test because I gave up on learning after a month
>have 2 months to learn that stuff before I can repeat the test so no worries
>shit is cash
I wasted two years in the army being responsible and working like a pleb until I noticed that the NEETlike (I'm in education after all) way is the best. Even when I just literally skip tests I got so much time to learn it's a joke. Currently I'm messing around with different programming projects, freeloading at my parents and waiting for my student "loan" from the government to come in. (I will mostly spend it on drugs, games and my PC and I don't even have to pay back 50% of it haha)
>>38836476
Oh. Oh god. Wow, so they are infecting the sciences too in your university. If that spreads, thats not good....
who else /community college/ here?
I'm really just here to save money I don't know what I'm doing
>lost all my good roommates to graduation
>moving in with an annoying faggot and two randoms because I don't know how to say no to people
>had to get special permission to take Fluids because I've failed it twice
>was appointed president of Quiz Bowl club because I can't say no to people.
I don't know how I'm going to get through this semester without killing myself to be honest.
>he lives in a dorm
>he has to share his room with others
>he has no privacy
>he doesn't live in a 100% government paid studio flat with 200 yuros extra every month
>he doesn't have perfect privacy and freedom
>he has to deal with possibility of annoying roommates and awkwardness if he somehow manages to get a girl into his room
I fucked up hard with weed last semester, failed two classes, but I'm just happy to have a D in Cal 2. People say Cal 3 is easier but I have problems with precalculus stuff. I'm also in some bullshit legal trouble right now that I hope blows away. Wish me luck brobots
>Implying I haven't failed all my classes and receded back to my lazy NEET habits.
>>38836259
what do you mean? they make you do a whole year's worth of classes like that. and only fucking americunts do it that's why I'm going to uni in a country that isn't a steaming shithole.
>>38835014
record lectures and play them while driving/
Easy my dude!
>>38836737
Seriously, though. I'm terrified by this. Even facts can be polluted when it comes to universities, I guess.
>>38839152
This sjw shit only seems to happen in the US and Canada where you have to take "general education" classes. It's so fucking weird and backwards to me.
Here, if you study maths for example, you study literally only maths for 3 or 4 years. No sociology, no gender studies, just whatever course you enrolled on.
>>38839254
>maths
math*
when you take a literature class in bongistan, you don't call it a literatures class just because you read multiple different types of books
>online course
Good feel
But also bad
>>38839385
Oh fuck off, you retards pronounce "buoy" as "booey". It's buoyant, or buoyancy, not "booeyancy".
>>38839418
>alewminium
>>38839424
I really don't give a shit about your gay pronunciations, I was just saying your college system is stupid.
>applied to 17 summer internships
>rejected for all
take this as a warning to study hard
I'm just gonna waste my time shitposting as usual
Pretty much done with Uni, I will be working in school divisions primarily so I might actually pick up some social skills. More than likely I will be just going back home fridays and getting shitfaced drunk and then showing up again monday as awkward as ever again.
>>38835622
Not gonna lie, my roommate was a deep sleeper, so I just drooped a blanket from my lofted bed and jerked off under there.
>>38835622
Do it in the shower or when your roommate is at class
>>38832255
>a few weeks
Uni on this side of the US doesn't start until almost October
>>38839908
What side of the US are you on
I go to school in Florida, school starts in mid-August for me
>have all the stuff I need to either straight up get my general studies degree from my community college or get a transfer degree to a four year school (brings you in at junior year stuff automatically)
>sign ups at state university started this month and parents expect me to be transferring
>have absolutely 0 motivation to continue with classes, especially since there's nothing I'm interested in
>keep telling myself I'll get a job, but getting a job would mean interacting with people and leaving the house, and I don't really have any skills worth mentioning besides basic literacy and typing proficiency
I'm not ready for school. I'm not ready for work. I'm not ready to be an adult. I'm turning 23 this month.
>>38832255
I'm a fucking loser who's behind in his studies and should have graduated this year, but whatever i'll soldier it up and don't drop out, also i wanna make lots of new friends , since the ones i had will not be there anymore since they did graduate
I cry myself to sleep all the time over this but i hope i can meet a cute girl during this extra time
I wish i could kick my first semester self in the balls and give him a list of all the dumb decissions not to make
>>38839404
Don't you get distracted? How do these really work?
Law student, pretty boring but i'll do my best for about a month or so like every other semester, i'll end up working for the government anyway or in a decent law firm if i get really lucky, going with the flow niqqas
kill myself hopefully
>>38832255
My summer intern is finally ending next Tuesday then I can go back to my NEET life for a month or so before 3rd year starts.
>>38835429
Least you worked. That's miles better than how I spent my time.
>>38841924
>go with the flow
>decent law firm
Sure thing Mr. Public Defender
>>38832255
German Anon here, I failed 2 times the easiest exam on my German college, I knew what I did wrong in the first try, but the second? No fucking idea.
