I recently started losing weight. I hate working out, and I'm a lazy fuck so the deal I made with myself was to do SOMETHING every day. I'm too anxious and shy to go to a gym, so I started doing easy at-home work outs. I did 5 pushups/situps/squats a day. Then 10, 15, 20, and now I'm at 30. I started doing squats with whatever weighted junk I could find around the house because I knew I just wouldn't be able to get myself to go to a gym. I ended up lifting 15-20 pound boxes of cat litter every time I went into the bathroom to take a shower or to brush my teeth in the evening, because at least it was something small that I could actually get myself to do regularly. I recently starting doing plank exercises, which are great because there's literally zero effort to get started on them and they can do a lot for your body.

Counting calories and cutting back on meals didn't work for me because I have close to zero willpower when it comes to eating, unfortunately. So the only choice I had was to start exercising more. The only dieting tip I have is to start splitting up your meals into multiple "courses" instead of one really big plate. It's much easier to get yourself to stop overeating when you have to actively serve yourself a second helping, you can't justify it as not wasting food.

I agree with the sugar part but fuck you bread is amazing and doesn't cause a spike in your blood sugar like fruits, juice or anything with pure sugar does, unless you are one of those fags who thinks carbs in it's all forms is bad. In that case you better watch out not to accidentally eat a carrot or a potato too. Bread also full of healthy vitamins and fibers.

Yes, if overdone. That is mostly because of people being retards and making their blood sugar levels do the rollercoaster. They also cause diabetes. That being said, the energy stored in fat is far greater than an equivalent amount of any carbs, even pure sugar. Sugar has 4 calories per gram, where as fat has 9.

I've never been overweight, but i've realized that this is the reason why i eat snacks and other shit. I'm starting to eat only when i'm really hungry.
Today my lunch was some espresso and a cigarette. For dinner an another cigarette and a small sandwich.

Also, stop drinking soda and maybe instead drink a beer if you really want a ''tasty'' drink and cant resist with only water.

You could eat normally and do some exercises as well. It's not about really what you eat sometimes but about the fact that you dont move enough. Even if you think to eat normally, if you dont burn calories of course you will be overweight. And this is my case, i'm not even skinny, i would say that i'm normal with a lil bit of a belly.

Novolipogenisis (the process of tunring carbs to fat) rarely ever occurs even at large intakes of carbohydrates.

Step 1: Sustain yourself at a caloric deficit, probably between 100-400 calories as to not slow down your metabolism vastly.

Step 2: Greatly decrease your consumption of fats as these are the most easily converted into adipose tissue. (Easiest way to do this is to reduce animal product consumption as these are naturally high in saturated fat)

Sit back relax and wait for yourself to slowly lose weight at a sustainable rate.

Cardio will only increase your caloric deficit, but do it if you want.

Muscle training can be good to make yourself look less fat.

Carbs do, and we've known this for hundreds of years. it was an invention of the 90's that said "Eat as many carbs as you want, but stay away from fat". Plenty of historical books say that if you're getting to fat, eat only fat and protein. And fiber.

Like I said novolipogenesis (the process where carbohydrates are stored as fat) does not occur even when a predominantly carbohydrate diet is consumed.

You'll also find that Blue zones likely eat a high carb low fat diet.
