>parents hated video games
>only console I had was the Gamecube
>one day, they finally caved in and got us a wii
>other kids have Xboxs but idgaf it was better than fucking playing Sonic DX
>first game I got was Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
>obsessed with the game
>play it everyday after school
>Countless hours spent in the basement just shaking a wii remote around
>fast forward about 2 weeks

>notice someone is wearing a shirt with the Olympic Games symbol
>walk up to him after class
>hey man I love that game too
>He gives me a confused look
>I manage to convince myself that he just did not hear me

The earliest evidence of my autism is out of the reaches of my memory, but my parents used to tell me about it.
Apparently I used to copy Bart Simpson so much that they ended up banning the Simpsons from our house.
I guess they would take me out in public and I would act crazy and when they'd introduce me to their friends I would just repeat Bart Simpson one-liners.

Teachers can be assholes
If it makes you feel better, I had a girl that ironically dated me for a month as a dare. middle school to high school were just bad times.
