I don't know what to do. I'm an 18 year old semi-hermit, not a complete NEET. My stepdad and mum are normal fags.
I can't stand people, and it's getting to the point were I don't want to be a part of society. Reason being is because it is so full of misunderstanding, cruelty and forced interaction.
You can't be a hermit who keeps to himself, you MUST interact with people and partake in shitty conventions. You see normies confirm and obey and there is so much wrong with them, but then they call YOU the bad one.
The reason we hide away is because we are rudicluded, and we see the masks you all wear but WE DON'T STAND FOR IT.
We are fed up with putting on a mask so we wish to be alone. I'm mentally ill and the reason I hide is because I can't stand it. People are so stupid and so blind that it's hard to live In there world.
Then my parents knock on the door and say that I should get a life and go outside. With those people.
I'll go to work and earn money, that's it. I shall leave those people and I shall live in my own company.
Instead if shitty normal music, I shall listen to my tastes. Instead of them acting like intellectuals, I will talk to actual intellectuals and read their work.
In solitude I am free, why can't people see that?

If you feel this way, then take responsibility for yourself. Go on the dole, get a council flat, do the minimum required to keep the dole, and otherwise shut the fucking door and avoid the world.
The god mode of this is finding a comfy, solitary job that gives you enough to get by.
The important thing here is you can't live at home and be like this. You're an adult now and your parents aren't obliged to let you stagnate under their roof.

I somewhat see your point, however consider that the older generation does not have knowledge of how the new generations social structure works.
Back in the old days people who would spent time alone due to societal rejection would normally lose contact with people. Also we didn't really have nearly as much non socialising activitys back then other than books and maybe playing on a console etc things of that caliber.
Point being, back then if you went off the social grid you were off and didn't get bothered often.
But now if you try and be alone or seclude yourself from the social noise you are actively ridiculed as being a creep just because you don't want to be plugged into the highly connected social structure.
Facebook, Twitter and places like that make every social system ten times louder. It's not just "want to meet at the park when we can?" It's talking about the park, posting pictures and videos then sending it onto thousands of other people.
In the world today you can't get away from the noise it drives people mad.
