Here's a little morsel from the first page, opening paragraph:
I managed to take a shower today, but only because some repairmen came over and I wanted to hide from them. The only thing that gives me the courage to overcome my stupid fears is other stupid fears.
I have so much anxiety about everything and every time I have to do something it's like there's a big wall between my intentions and my actions. Like today I had to send a short email to somebody, just like three sentences long. But I couldn't get myself to do it, I just kept saying, "Okay, at noon I'll do it," "Well, I'll wait until three," "I'm still not feeling up for it, so let's do it at six," and so on and so on. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with me. It'll only take like two minutes at the most, but I just can't fucking do it. There's something seriously wrong with me, it's like I have brain damage or something.

>Shiver overcame my body when I learned of the repairmens arrival. That's why I found the unusual courage to take a shower today. An endless paradoxon that fears help me to overcome my other permanent fears. Funny isn't it?

maybe you can express your emotions directly in relation to their outcome and then describe the action that follows afterwards. That sounds softer and more melancholic.

That's a good idea anon, I just might use that
another excerpt:
I'm NOT a pessimist
I'm a REALIST
I have over 300 contacts on my phone
I NEVER CALL ANYONE
NEVER
N E V E R
N... E... V... E... R...
I'm an isolationist
And I'm happier than I've ever been in my life
My advice ?...
Again PAY ATTENTION
A pet
A dog
A cat

Find your own style, some that sounds not too forced. I'd embed such an excerpt as some own paragraph and maybe make a rhyme or let it sound like poetry. That'd be some modern way to express abstract actions as feelings. Don't think about how big the novel should be, just try to play with the style creatively such as the emotion is recognizable.

Thanks anon, I have a tendency to try too hard with writing and it makes the writing come off as unnatural
