I guess I outgrew looking for a girl to save me. I would like a girlfriend, but if I die single and childless, eh, who cares really.

I "outgrew" metal at 20-ish too, but it turned out that I was only tired of too much of it. Came back five years later and it's sort of fresh again. Same with soccer, dad made me play it fmy entire childhood and I hated it for ten years after I finally grew the balls to quit. It took time, but now I've come to enjoy it again.

August Ames WAS a very beautiful woman. She was going to make it big if she stuck to her forte of being the hot college girl that gets plowed by Chad every night. That was perfectly fine by me. I've also unironically outgrown women. Not in a sour grapes kind of way, I can attract women. The issue is none of them truly care about you making it not worthwhile to begin with. As for pursuing strictly sex, when comparing cost benefit, the costs are more.

Only thing I've outgrown is my lack of desire to better myself and spend money on looking good. Barely spent a dime my whole life on looking good, finally changing that

here's a thing; i see a couple of people talking about stuff they've outgrown, but i'm not seeing much on new passions they've developed as they've matured

that's concerning, and could indicate that one has lost their drive

course they may just be in a temporal phase of life where they're discovering new interests, but since they're in this da/r9k/place, it's more likely chronic depression with a soupcon of pretentiousness
