I have self esteem and trust issues. Hitting on girls was the only way to feel good about myself. I've been to a couple of festivals but they were metal festivals with about 3 girls at them, mostly I am sleeping in my car by myself so I'm not meeting many girls. I've got with one since I got here so better than none I guess.

Traveling with friends is fun, but it's less travel, and more going out with friends.
I prefer traveling alone or at most with a close friend, to really experience travel.

That said, you have to like yourself to do it, or at the very least don't hate yourself.

ALSO, That said, It's not the same to roadtrip / travel in the USA and in Europe, in Europe, each country, however small, has it's own culture that may be strange/intriguing to you, so you can just walk arround a city or town and enjoy feeling something different.
In the USA, you have great natural wonders and all that shit, wich is great, but the great distances and the fact that all states are basically the same regarding culture and people, makes it more boring to go alone I guess.
