For Enemy Mine, while it is heavily based on, and when I mean that I mean it's basically a 1:1 of the movie it gets its name from, Captain at least knows how to pluck the heart strings with it. I mean, I'm a sucker for romance and the fact that what amounts to a medieval Adeptus Astartes having to re-learn how to live after being flung FAR INTO THE FUTURE, only to fall in love with his former nemesis really gets me. I also appreciate that it focused less on the bumping of uglies (Which happens in a brief scene at the end IIRC?) and more about the inter-personal relationship that Boreal has with Akane.
