It would be a good idea I think, I bet I do have some chemical imbalances or there's something wrong with me. I've got plenty of time now too so I could do it. Not sure really, can't place my finger on it. Whenever I don't have to get up for anything though I always, always revert to a completely upside-down sleep schedule within 2 or 3 days. It's just natural for me I think. Or it might be because each night I stay up a few hours later than the previous one. I suspect he'd order some bloods based off this and if you told him about your sleep habits etc would probably wonder about your psychological health. He might offer you some CBT or even antidepressants if he thinks its warranted.

Not sure how I feel about the 'pharmaceutical jew' Tbh. I have done CBT before and although I found it helpful, the progress I made was because it was a set time to reflect on my issues. So I could probably give myself CBT if I really needed to. I think my mental health is in a pretty good place though, at least comparatively. I used to be a lot worse. Aside from the boredom from staying inside all the time (and some minor feelings of inferiority, etc) I don't really have any problems. Or maybe my mental health is actually terrible but I just don't realise it hahaThat's only if you don't consider my fear of interacting with people a mental health problem though

The motivation thing is part of the problem I'd suggest. If you never have the motivation to try out those things to improve your mood, are you ever going to actually do them?

The pharmaceutical jew may be able to give you the motivation to initially do those things. And then once you've incorporated those positive things into your lifestyle and they are a habit, you can take the pills away.

In honesty, and don't take offense, it sounds like you have some issues. It is easy to lose 'insight' when you are depressed. I've had times when I've been severely depressed and didn't realise it and then come out of it. Afterwards I've been able to look back and I'd be like 'woah what the fuck, I was really fucking ill and didn't have a clue'.

I think a normal sleeping pattern would help you. You'll get more sunlight and be more in tune with the rest of the world. Nighttime is so comfy, but it is so isolating.

I kind of want to do some nightwalks to get used to the outside again, but I think my parents would think I'm an absolute nutter doing stuff like that so I can't really unless I lived on my own :(

(Also tfw, I can give you all this positive healthy advice but can't do any of it myself haha)... Maybe I will when my antidepressants kick in.

I believe that it does also apply to our ancient ancestors, it may have been more prevelant then, but they knew they were inflicting pain upon others. Sure it may have been legal (for a lack of legal system) and socially acceptable, but you can't say "they didn't know better"
