Start with a luftschutz helmet. They aren't too expensive and are relatively easy to find. They also look fucking rad.

Don't look for online sales, dummy. Either go to historic sites and find shit yourself, or look to buy stuff in person. Make connections with fellow collectors, museum curators, that sort of thing.

There are lots of WW2 bunkers and old artillery mounts here because the germans.
I've already been up everywhere and looked to see but it's all gone.
We even found a huge stone hatch that was totally overgrown but under it was just an empty room, probably used for storage or something

My dad knows a guy who's a big german ww2 collector, he has an entire room deticated to it and it's fileld with uniforms, flags, weapons, grenades and everything in between

I want to fucking kill them. They could have at least sold it. She has a couple small things from him over the years, and the first year I was with her he gave me a German language bible dated to 1935 he took from some guy who's family he killed, he inscribed a nice note in it for me in German and English. It's in a vaccum sealed bag on my shelf. One of my favorite possessions, he gave me a couple of his achievement pins too, like the sharpshooter ones, and some SS ones.
