I'm guessing that once you're in a relationship, especially after the initial six months, the novelty of a girl's desire for constant physical affection and reassurance wears off. The more neurotic she is, the more likely and more often she will depend on this physical affection to supplement her mood, calm herself, reassure she is wanted, boost self-confidence, quell anxiety, etc.

I can see how someone being physically clingy could get annoying, or worse, suffocating. I haven't been in a physical relationship but I know what it's like to spend too much time with someone and need distance and feel smothered by their constant needs, so I understand the idea.

That being said, a lot of guys here have been genuinely lonely and properly alone for a long time, so of course the idea of any physical affection is going to seem ace... All those things I said that girls want cuddling for, I mean, doesn't that apply to us too? It's not just a one way street.

It's probably more the Chads that fear intimacy, that I don't really get. I guess they want to fuck without the burden of emotional attachment because they don't want eventual obligation and responsibility, and don't want to stop being pursued?
