Earbuds are ok, they blend in just fine, but when you're wearing giant ass beats by dre or whatever headphones it looks autistic, and don't even get me started on those Air Pod things goddamn they look retarded. It's socially acceptable to wear phones or buds when on public transport. If you're walking around though it looks incredibly autistic and implies that you have poor situational awareness. This happened to me in the worst possible way at work. My iPhone is a Japanese import so it took a picture with the shutter sound effect at full volume while I was standing behind a girl in a meeting. I mumbled that I wasn't trying to take pictures of her but she doesn't seem convinced. I stopped talking to anyone after that. I have to show myself to these people every day, fuck my life.
