Anyone had any luck with rogaine/minoxidil?

lol inferior genetics
>be me 22
>receded like 1-2mm since 20 and sides are thinning
>like NW1.5-2
what do I do? fuck going to the doctors for fin prescription
>>38695041
Rogaine/minoxidil holds it back long enough to get fit and just shave it (you gotta look good despite being shaved, not because of being shaved)

>>like NW1.5-2

I tried minoxidil and it doesnt do shit. I only got tiny hair instead of real hair follicles.
Finasteride on the other hand has slowed down my hair loss to acceptable levels

5th here.
It hurts specially when you have long hair.
GODDAMMIT.

Lower libido and testosterone.

column 3 row 4. What does this mean?
>>38695626
It means you're Keyser Soze
I've given up on getting a girlfriend
This is after growing it out on the top and using minoxidil for 2 months
>>38696390
Theres no way to tell since you let it grow it out
This is the best self-image I ever took; I always look better from the right as my left side seems uglier, with a heavier under-eye bag and worse hair growth. I've gotten pretty fit since this April pic, but I'm still to young to STATHAM XD

Little bit of row 3 column 2 and row 1 column 3. It's not terrible yet but definitely noticeable. Is rogaine really the best option?
>>38696484
No. Rogaine wont stop your hairloss if its hormone/gene caused at all.
>>38696520
Wait, then what is it good for? I must've been lied to. Isn't most hair loss genetic/hormonal?
2 months of minoxidil and it's made my hair very itchy, as well as given me a lot of dandruff. If I don't get good results by month 4, I'm just shaving.

Its for reinforcing hair and repleshing thinned scalps. Its just a blood thinner dude. Increased circulation *should* lead to stronger, more thicc hair.
However if ure losing them due to genetics/testosterone then you need a T-inhibitor

I remember seeing some idiot on here talk about how guys with widow peaks don't go bald, and here I am with a widow's peak and thinning top.
I'll be like row 1 Class 6 soon enough, it shows so much when my hair is wet.

>mine isn't listed
Cool, my hair might look repulsive but at least it's a special pattern, pic related.
>>38695041
I'm 6 or 7. Started balding when I was in my mid 20's. I just shave my head now.
You guys are nothing. Witness true baldness. My hair has been like this since I was 18 when I first shaved it.

Im five and am planning on talking to my doc soon about finasteride. Would it be better to go directly to a dermatologist, or will my normal doc give me the prescription?
>>38696580
>attractive with a receding hairline
get the fuck out of here
>>38697564
christ
this is what i'm going to look like when I give up and shave my head, and it isn't going to be pretty
I hope you wear lots of hats
>>38697803
Nah I just shave my head to a 0.5, I haven't shaved in about a week so its looking pretty autistic at the moment. I wear beanies in winter but in summer I go hatless. Idgaf and it suits me anyway, I'm not self conscious about it.

God hates you my man
