Does r9k read?
If so what's your favourite book.
Doesn't feel good to say it but I haven't read a full book since high school
I liked catch 22 though.
I mostly listen to audiobooks, but yeah
Brave new world is an awesome read anon, congrats on the pick.
I suggest:
-Cormac McCarthy (The Road, Blood Meridian)
-Jose Saramago (Blindness)
-Haruki Murakami (Wind-Up Bird chronicle, 1Q84, Kafka on the shore)

Without Remorse by Tom Clancy is awesome.
Big fan of 19th century Russian /lit/ Gogol, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky,Pushkin, the list just goes on and on. I also read a lot of books on modern European and American history.

Hey this is
>>38692162
Im a really big reader, I also like Ayn Rand, harry potter, and Catcher in the Rye
I'm 21 and just now got into reading desu
>>38691750
>harry potter
>percy jackson (before Riordan went full sjw)
>artemis fowl
>mistborn
>clive cussler
>dresden files
Action adventure/fantasy novels and YA are so fun to read, it's like capeshit or chinese cartoons except in your mind.
Idk why we don't have a board for fun literature

That book did my head in. It was like a giant Kafka story that just wouldn't end. I got 100 pages in and called it quits.
This one's breddy good
>2017
>reading fiction with availability of superior channels
kek
>>38692547
>somebody actually took the time to type this shit out
Mostly esoteric , magik and occult stuff
Big into psychology and the mind too
>>38691750
Brave New World is garbage.
>>38692569
Also this reminded me that I'll have to re-read the HekateStation comics because they are interesting. A shame it means I'll have to solve all the puzzles again, unless someone has them stored somewhere?
I mostly read non-fiction; books about history, philosophy, politics and my general interests. Currently reading The Godfather which is the first novel in years I've been able to get into and pic related which is "wtf i hate america and israel now: The Book".
Roadside Picnic is the fucking shit. Makes you see how fucking gay the Stalker movie is.
-Here's a good one
An absolute classic. Should be required reading in schools.
>>38692762
Unironically got this on my kindle. He's a shit writer but it was a fascinating read.
>>38692658
why are you even here? you've probably not read it. Brave New World is a must read for any robot.
I read it and liked it. A couple of my favorite books are
>Musashi by Eji Yoshikawa
It's not deep or symbolic or anything. Just a fun read about a samurai. Pretty long though.
>Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky
It was actually my first big boy book. I read it in high school for extra credit. There's just something about his writing that I liked.
>>38691750
Crime and Punishment is the probably the only one that actually triggered like a small existential crisis in me so I guess it.
BNW was also pretty neat although somewhat predictable, still better than 1984.
Also unironically Looking for Alaska and the first Harry Potter(haven't read the others) although I wish I read them when I was 13-14 not like 19.

Hey what is that crystal? Is that some home baked DMT?
>>38692833
yeah, the white is from the first few pulls
The brown is from pulls 4+, kinda gooey and lots of other alkaloids in there but still works well enough
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is a good classic for robots. One of my favourite books too.
That roastie gets what she deserves. McMurphy was truly a hero.
>>38692704
I'm reading understanding power by him. It's ok. Also have manufacturing consent that I'll get around to at some point.
>>38692925
did you use acacia confusa? or the old mimosa hostilis?
or something else
>>38692623
Have you read Meme Magic? Not even ironic here, it has pretty interesting concepts.
>>38692925
>>38692953
My friend used acacia confusa
in total was like 6 or 7 grams of white powder, and about the same amount of brown/orange goop
pics are from a friend btw
this series was pretty good
Noam Chomsky's books are pretty illuminating
>>38692925
Have you ever considered cutting yourself and rubbing a bunch of that crystal into the wound? I would like to try that.
Anyway it looks like you're all set for some zany adventures.
this very short book is an interesting read
a roadside picnic
>>38693000
wouldn't be easier just to IV it?
>>38691750
unironically pic related
and not because i have any interest in kids its just written really nicely
Reading H. P. Lovecraft, and LotR since i never read them
>>38693082
Probably. You'd have to mix those crystals with an acid to make them into soluble form though. I feel also it would be way too short and intense. Like smoking x10.
>>38692985
Loved that series
This book made me genuinely despise war for a bit. Its well written and pretty funny for a book from the 50's
>>38691750
Brave New World is trash read it in high school.
>muhhh Ford
>muhhh savage
>muhhh drugs
It was good at some points but the parts where it's bad really show how dumb the author is. No gays even though everyone belongs to everyone.
