Well with raiding there are people that genuinely love that kind of attention because they find it funny to watch people sperg out in their threads. It makes them want to post more and some get off to it. Now I'm making assumptions here from what I've seen you all do when I'm just browsing. I think the raids are really weak attempts at "taking back your board". If you all are regularly making interesting threads and feeding them with posts while giving attention to genuinely interesting threads in your discord chat then good on you that's the more beneficial route to go.
