It's probable that the functions themselves do have some degree of correlation with intelligence, but all the types use a different combination of functions, use them in varying amounts, and due to differing positions in the functional stack, have different relationships with each other.

There's too many variables to say much about the functions themselves, although you could assume ones like Ti are operating on a higher level than Se.

Nonetheless, the math could be wrong, but the data can't as long as the math is right. The number of gifted participants was taken in the study, plotted on an IQ bell curve. The numbers are in front of everyone.

In fact, the worst parts are the time every one to two months where all the feelings fo sadness and depression you've been holding back come to the surface and you end up acting like a feeler bitch for a few hours unable to control yourself.

I don't think so. My results are staunchly T (in the 70%) range. I don't exhibit my own emotions much. I keep a pretty stoic face and only internalize my problems and think through them. I think my stoic demeanor might be the reason people confide in me and I would rather give into the social pressure to be empathetic to someone's problems because it makes social interactions in the future with them easier. They are usually more generous and friendlier.

Empathy, I think, is about feeling yourself in another person's shoes rather than rationally putting yourselves there. I can rationally imagine myself as a poor person to see why public education/healthcare is a good thing, but I can't empathize with them. An emotional person might reach the same conclusion through different means.

I have a really hard time keeping my mask on when dealing with stupid people, but when it comes to personal choices or beliefs I am pretty live and let live. I am quick to forgive and don't hold grudges. I've gotten 133 on it, but it seems really unlikely I'd have a score that high and it would go unnoticed my whole life.

Back in school, classes that weren't sorted by grades, usually with about 20 or 30 students, I'd be smartest or joint smartest in class. At most, there would be 2 other people that would compete with me. So, if I put myself in the top 10 or 5 % according to that, it'd give me an IQ in the low to mid 120s, which seems much more likely.

INTP Here, why do I love psychedelic drugs so much? I tried an opiate one time and it was awful. I smoke weed, but I like taking Acid and Shrooms a lot more when I can. What about these specific drugs makes me attracted to them? I find that alcohol/opiates are simply boring, while amphetamines such as Adderall are pretty good, but nothing as stimulating and fascinating as psychedelics.

INTX, I'm almost split right down the middle with J/P. I have this awful tendency to get super into something, try really hard, and lose interest before I complete it. (Through IQ testing, my individual score regarding language) I'm considered a super-genius in language, but my grammar and language mechanics is slowly deteriorating the more languages I try teaching myself. My biggest issue is developing an attachment to anyone, and I get strong urges to use people for what I want because I know I can manipulate people very easily. Yeah I actually really like the way I was raised. For the most part my dad pushed me to do normie things and as a result I was able to become pretty orderly and successful in academics and the professional world. In turn, my mom allowed me to develop my emotional autism freely and I actually kinda like that because I don't see myself being happy any other way.

Even if you consider people who put stock in the test dumb, you have to be an even bigger pseudo-intellectual brainlet to say "muh literally a horoscope". A horoscope is based off no input from the test taker besides a birth date and jumps to conclusions about personality based off this, an almost entirely arbitrary piece of info that supposedly has something to do with constellations.
The MBTI test itself has the simple purpose of making broad categorizations on personality based off personality based questions inputted by the test taker, it makes minimal to no conclusions of its own that weren't fed to it. There are problems with the test, more with supplementary material that tries to interpret results instead of just sorting people, but they aren't at all the same problems that horoscopes have.

You need only look at this very board and it's overwhelming abundance and concentration of a few specific types, most otherwise rare in the general population, to see there is at least some fairly consistent results. It's not coincidence, it's a function of the test. You won't find that to be the case with birth dates, outside of perhaps a small increase during the months when women are having more children than other months because of various factors like weather and such.

Look into meditation. 90% of getting your mind in order is noticing and understanding what's going on in there in the first place.
With some practice you'll become more aware of your thoughts and feelings throughout the day, and you'll be able to prevent them from escalating.

Personally I've made it a habit to try to pay attention to what's going on in my mind every time I hit "update" on 4chan (auto-update is turned off). This gives me hundreds of mini-meditation sessions during the day.

I would not assassinate someone as I am too risk-averse when I have time to think. I would start planning, try to avoid every little risk, the plan would grow comically elaborate and then I would conclude it's impossible.

The only way I see myself killing someone is if I had to defend myself (successfully) and the injustice of being attacked enraged me enough. In that scenario I could definitely see myself executing someone American History X style and not even feeling guilt after. When I watch football I always rage at fouls. If I were a pro footballer, my career would end early and in spectacular fashion.
