What job do you have? How were you able to do the normie dance in the interview so as to not immediately be disqualified? How do you get through each excruciating day?

I'm a night porter at Yellowstone National Park. The interview was by phone, plus I worked here four years ago, so that part wasn't a big deal. It's a pretty chill job, I mostly walk around all night and pretend that I'm working. But they deduct a shit ton of money for my room/ board/ food/ healthcare so even though I work constantly I'm poor as fuck.

>A hotel commonly has a night porter to attend to the needs of guests and other incidents during the night. Traditionally a night porter might also be required to perform sundry maintenance and cleaning tasks such as polishing boots, emptying spittoons and laying fires.
sounds like hell
>But they deduct a shit ton of money for my room/ board/ food/ healthcare so even though I work constantly I'm poor as fuck.
but at the same time you don't have to pay for these things, so shouldn't you come out even? are they deducting more than these things are worth? If so, is there a way to reject these services in return for a full paycheck?

I do satellite transmission. I was one of those "lazy geniuses" in high school so I wasn't ready for college. So after I dropped out of college I was smoking a lot of weed. I drove past this satellite station in my home town and I thought it would be cool to work there. The gate just happened to be open so I drove up, walked inside, and found the manager. I told him to hire me. He said I have balls and I started a week later. Been there four years now.
>>
>>38666897
I've worked at donut shops, fast food places, grocery stores, warehouses and shopping malls.

The trick is to just put everything you have that interview and fake it until you make it.

Those managers or whoever hire me have no idea that the person that they hired is not going to show up at their next shift, figuratively speaking.

I'm in the air force right now doing atc. Can't wait to get out and get that sweet public sector payday. Just hopefully the controllers still work for the government by the time I'm out.
>>
>>38669864
nope. if you're that same guy who can't go on welfare than I guess you're fucked when mummy finally kicks you out.
>>
>>38669864
Security guard? Or maybe you can be the guy who drives the banks money truck.
>>
>>38668585
I know this is just a meme, but in reality, even if a firm handshake is all it took, i would still fail.
>>
>>38669929
well there are probably multiple people on this board like me but yeah I can't go on welfare
>>38669987
security guards have to walk a lot, which I can't do without intense pain. also, even if they didn't, I'd still have to somehow seem pleasant in the interview, which is impossible due to my mopey resting face and mumbly/generally unpleasant voice.

So are interviews
>>
>>38669896
Keep an eye out for one then. It was easy to get. I showed up to the interview and was polite. The people that hired me were old ladies and they wanted someone quite and polite that wouldnt create waves. Thats me!
>>
>>38670098
I dont actualy listen to anything. I just have them in so people wont talk to me. I cant concentrate on my job with music playing.
>>
Software engineer at google. The interview was actually really challenging and fun even though I bombed one round because I couldn't understand the chinese guy asking the question. Place is normie central but I just listen to podcasts and eat so it's cool.
>>

Surgeon. Forcing myself through med school made me really good at chatting shit so interviews and daily work aren't so difficulty anymore. Everyone in my job is a normalfag apart from me but (apart from the dickheads) they are alright people at the end of the day. I don't interact with them outside of work because that would just be too much for me.

just at a family buisness about trucks. i just grease them and change oil and airbrakes. im not a mechanic but ive learned stuff

The turnover rate in this industry is so high that most companies will take anyone with a pulse, 5th grade English skills, and is able to pull themselves into the truck. Pretty manageable for a stable robot.

>What job do you have?
I'm a cashier at a cell phone store and I feel horrible selling old people phones.

>How were you able to do the normie dance in the interview so as to not immediately be disqualified?
The worker at the store told me to just say I want to sell, and that's exactly what I told my boss. I rarely see her now, I've been here for months and seen many coworkers quit. It's strange.

>How do you get through each excruciating day?
I work alone so I just post on 4chan and watch youtube videos. My boss never shows up, I feel more like a security guard than anything else.
>>

>What job do you have?
Warehouse. I pack orders, most of which are fragile shit.

>How were you able to do the normie dance in the interview so as to not immediately be disqualified?
It was really easy. The supervisor just gave me a tour of the place and said I was hired. Easiest fucking interview ever.

>How do you get through each excruciating day?
The days are long but not hard. I just put on my headphones and pack shit. Also I get 3 days off which is nice.
>>
>>38666897
Normie dance isn't difficult. Firm handshake, look them in the eyes, and don't mumble. I always pretend like I'm just playing a part in a movie or something
>>

I do data entry, it's very easy. Just looking at fucked up mail pieces that the computers couldn't read and entering in addresses or names. I've done it for almost 2 years now so I am basically on autopilot the whole day and I listen to audiobooks or podcasts for 8 hours a day.
>>
>>38671143
And they hire just about anybody if you can past the typing tests so the interview was barely an interview. It is a bit soul crushing though.
