Or is it glassed people seem to have smaller eyes when they take them off because we're used to see their enlarged by the lenses?
> Is it true that wearing glasses makes your eyes smaller?
only if you have high myopia. People with this condition usually wear contact lenses though

If the glasses are strong enough. Mine make my eyes smaller.

the lens design for people with myopia is different from people with hyperopia.
The lens for people with hyperopia is much like a lens or magnifying glass. Your eyes will look bigger
if you have a small myopia, lets say 0.75 or 1 diopter your eyes will look just fine.

how does wearing glasses make your eyes actually smaller that's what I'm asking
>>38666586
Think magnifying glass but in reverse it makes thing further smaller but more focused

.....
I'm talking of ACTUALLY making them small not making them LOOK small.
Re-read OP it's pretty clear.
Saw some myopic people with tiny looking eyes when wearing glasses, but when they take them off they're still small af for some reason.
Maybe eye strain makes your lids swell or get wrinklier or something like old people idk
