yeah honestly i feel pretty similarly about all of the boards on 4chan that i browse: no content, and formulaic, overstretched cultures.

i'm pretty fucking bored of it all at this point.

/v/ barely talks about games. Most of it is off topic discussion, I know since it's my favorite board to funpost in.

I agree /mu/ is fried garbage, but it's a bit more nuanced than your review, I think.

Like, for one thing, they kinda know what they're talking about with certain genres of music, and if you read their recommendation lists and look at the genres you like, you'll always find some top shelf stuff.

Problem is that they're fucking retards in literally every other way. They can't communicate information, they can't be social, they're like truffle-sniffing pigs - 1% of their day is spent finding valuable items, 99% of it is spent squealing in a pile of mud. And to be honest that's probably only true of the very best of them, as most information there is regurgitated.

Also, they think Carrie & Lowell was the only good Sufjan album, so fuck them, that man is a treasure.

OP here. I've only done this one on /mu/ and the one on [s4s]. I'm glad the reviews are getting more attention but I'm gonna put the board ones on hold for a bit. I usually just cycle through the same 5 boards, so it's hard for me to review most of the boards on here.
