Maybe some advice though, cause I work in a woman dominated field: Make sure to not be a "threat" to the girls you wanna befriend i.e. dont act flirty with guys or dress slutty. Dont try to be smarter or better then them from the get go. I know it sucks to act that way, but its just how the world is.
I think that as soon as they get to know you, and come to the conclusion you are not a threat, they dont mind you doing the above mentioned things though.
